C. Andrew Nelson

I'm C. Andrew Nelson - actor, visual effects artist, animator, voice-over performer, comedian, YouTuber, and genuine Dark Lord of the Sith. I'm probably best known for having spent 12 years playing the character of Darth Vader for Lucasfilm and the Lucas companies for film, television, games, commercials, print, and live appearances, managing to spend more time in the official Vader costume than any other actor. I am also a voice-over performer for games & animation including the voice of Luke Skywalker for numerous LucasArts games, making me the first actor to have officially portrayed both Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. (Yes, I'm aware that makes me either my own father or my own son. Don't worry. I'm sure after years of therapy I'll be okay.) Additionally, I spent six years at LucasArts where I was a visual effects supervisor and senior artist designing and creating many Star Wars games before transferring to Industrial Light & Magic to work on the effects for the Star Wars prequels and such films as Galaxy Quest, Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, The Perfect Storm, and the Jurassic Park franchise. And I host the popular YouTube channel Aquatasy, a fresh look at the hobby of fishkeeping from a humorous and cinematic perspective (because even Sith Lords need a hobby). My wife Veronica Loud - a gifted actress, voice-over artist, singer, print model, and photographer in her own right - and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with our daughter and son.more
